Ranch & Garlic Kale Chips

If you haven't made your own kale chips yet, this is the perfect recipe to start with! It's a simple, satisfying snack that's an easy way to get this nutritional powerhouse in your family’s diet.

  • 8 oz bunch curly kale leaves torn from stems, washed, spun dry (~ 8 cups)
  • 2 tsp extra virgin olive oil
  • ¼ tsp kosher salt
Ranch Blend
  • 2 tsp dried buttermilk available in the baking section of all supermarkets
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
Garlic-Spice Blend
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ¼ tsp cumin
  • Pinch cayenne or smoked paprika
  1. Preheat oven to 375 and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil. Toss kale pieces with olive oil and salt and spread evenly across sheet. 

  2. Roast in oven for 10-15 minutes, stirring once while cooking. Chips are done when kale pieces are crispy and lightly browned on the edges. Serve as is or toss with spice blend of choice.
