Beets and oranges create a beautiful, unique flavor combination that is absolutely delicious paired with our sesame-ginger vinaigrette. Try serving this salad as a tasty side or add a sautéed tuna steak to make it a hearty meal.

  • 6 cups mixed greens
  • 2 cups orange segments
  • 2 cups sliced roasted beets
  • ½ cup chopped shallot
  • ½ cup torn mint leaves
Sesame Ginger Vinaigrette
  • ¼ cup seasoned rice wine vinegar
  • 1 TB warm water
  • 1 tsp minced ginger
  • 4 tsp sesame oil
  • ¾ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp pepper
  1. Whisk together Sesame Ginger Vinaigrette ingredients. Toss together greens orange segments, beets, and shallot. Drizzle with vinaigrette and garnish with mint leaves.
Recipe Notes

Brush a 4 oz. tuna steak lightly with vegetable oil, and season with salt and pepper. Sear quickly on a grill or in a pan over high heat to brown while keeping center pink. Thinly slice and serve on top of salad.
