A rich, lightly sweet, and seriously delicious miso based marinade makes an amazing glaze for simple grilled or broiled cod. It’s simple to prep ahead for a party. Serve this one for company and prepare for raves!
- 2 tbs white miso
- 1 tbs soy sauce
- 1 tbs brown sugar
- 1 tbs sake
- 1 tbs mirin
- 1 tsp minced ginger
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- Fish Filets
- 4 5 oz cod filets skin removed
Whisk together all miso glaze ingredients and slather all over surface of cod filets. Marinate for at least 2 hours or up to 1 day.
Heat a grill or grill pan over medium heat and coat with cooking spray. Remove cod from marinade and grill for 5-7 minutes per side or until cod is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
Brush cod with remaining marinade half-way through grilling to create a thicker glaze.
This dish can also be prepared under the broiler with equally delicious results.
