Melon-Mint Mojito Fruit Salad

A fruit salad version of this favorite summer cocktail? Absolutely! This honey-rum-lime infused treat is beautiful when served in small martini or rocks glasses. Try it at your next spring cocktail party or brunch.

  • 2 cups seedless watermelon balls
  • 2 cups cantaloupe balls
  • 2 cups honeydew melon balls
  • 1 TB honey
  • 4 tsp lime juice
  • 4 tsp light rum
  • ½ tsp lime zest
  • 2 TB minced fresh mint plus additional for garnish


  • Combine watermelon, cantaloupe, and honeydew balls in a medium bowl. Whisk together honey, lime juice, light rum, lime zest, and fresh mint. Pour over melon balls and toss to coat. Serve immediately garnished with additional fresh mint.


You can use a melon baller for expert presentation, but diced melon is pretty cute, too.
