- ⅔ cup cream cheese
- 2 TB minced shallot
- 1 tsp chopped fresh dill additional for garnish
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- ½ lb sliced smoked salmon
- plain rye, or pumpernickel bagel chips
Combine cream cheese, shallot, dill, lemon juice, and lemon zest in a small bowl. Slice salmon into ½” wide, long ribbons. When ready to serve spread ~1 tsp cream cheese filling on each bagel chip. Spiral or layer salmon on top and garnish with a sprig of dill.
The cream cheese spread and spiraled salmon ribbons can be prepared up to 1 day ahead and stored in a tightly sealed container in the fridge at the ready for fast assembly before your bash. To keep the bagel chips crisp, these are best put together before your party.
