Buttered Rum-Spiked Whipped Cream

Use a dollop of this delicious whipped cream to turn after dinner coffee into something super special. You could also try it on some of your favorite holiday desserts for an extra kick.

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ¼ cup dark brown sugar
  • ¼ cup butterscotch schnapps
  • 2 TB dark rum


  • Beat heavy cream on high in a large bowl until it begins to thicken. Add remaining ingredients and beat until medium peaks form. May be made ahead and kept chilled, covered, for several hours before serving.
