A rich, lightly sweet, and seriously delicious miso based marinade makes an amazing glaze for simple grilled or broiled cod. It’s simple to prep ahead for a party - Serve this one for company and prepare for raves!

Cook Time: 15 mins
Yield: 4 servings
- 2 TB white miso
- 1 TB soy sauce
- 1 TB brown sugar
- 1 TB sake
- 1 TB mirin
- 1 tsp minced ginger
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 4, 5 oz cod filets, skin removed
Whisk together all miso glaze ingredients and slather all over surface of cod filets. Marinate for at least 2 hours or up to 1 day. Heat a grill or grill pan over medium heat and coat with cooking spray. Remove cod from marinade and grill for 5-7 minutes per side or until cod is opaque and flakes easily with a fork. Brush cod with remaining marinade half-way through grilling to create a thicker glaze.
Note: This dish can also be prepared under the broiler with equally delicious results.
